Artist Statement

A (relatively) modern retelling of Herman Melville’s classic novel, Moby Dick. Spun as a pulpy 80’s horror movie, with heavy inspiration from John Carpenter’s Thing, I did my best to bring life to the characters, designing their costumes to reflect 80’s styles as well as casual Arctic-wear, which probably isn’t a thing for a reason.
